Key Verse
“And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.” Mark 7:37
Text — Mark 7:31-37
Message
To be astonished means to be surprised or amazed, especially when you did not expect what you have received. A child that received a surprise gift on his birthday would surely be astonished because he did not expect it. In our Bible passage, a man who was deaf and dumb was brought to Jesus. He demonstrated His power by putting His finger into his ears, spat and touched the man’s tongue. He then commanded his tongue and ears to open and immediately it happened. This brought surprise to the people that saw it and they were beyond measure astonished.
Today, Jesus is still performing all kinds of miracles you can think of. He cures all types of sicknesses and heals all manners of diseases. If you are sick this day, the Lord will heal you, whether the sickness has a name or not, or has no medical solution, nothing is beyond Christ’ power. Just believe on Him and any problem you have will be rolled away through His Name.
