What Are You Doing With Jesus?
Tuesday, August 8, 2023Key Verse
“Pilate said unto them, What shall I do with Jesus which is called the Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified” (Matthew 27:22).
Text — Matthew 27:15-23
Message
The Jews cried out for the crucifixion of Jesus. They rejected His claim of being the Son of God. But what shall we do then with Jesus who is called Christ? Many people still reject Him today, but multitudes are embracing Him and honouring Him worldwide. Dwight L. Moody said, “A rule I have had for years is: to treat the Lord as a personal friend. He is not a creed, a mere doctrine, but it is He Himself we have.” Amen! Are you treating Jesus as a Friend?
In this age many youths are denying Jesus from reigning and ruling over their lives. Many Christian youths have been lulled to sleep regarding Christ and carried on as people without consciences bringing discredit on the Church by maligning the gospel and confusing other believers and unbelievers. Many have made academic and career pursuit their priority and have forgotten why they were converted. We are to take Jesus to others – boys and girls, so that they can experience salvation and freedom from sin. What are you doing with Jesus, today?
