Key Verse
thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.(Isaiah 30:19b)
Text: Isaiah 30:19-21
A sad story was told of three children who lost their parents within six months interval. Their hearts were broken with sorrow and there was no one who could comfort them. They cried until they had no tears to shed. In her tears and sorrow the elder daughter lamented, “if someone has told me that I will become an orphan in the next six months, I would never have believed it.”
However, God in His mercy and love sent a Christian family who took the children into their home and cared for them just like their own children.
Weeping or crying is common in this world. People cry for so many reasons. But even if you have reason to cry let your tears be directed to the One who can have mercy on you. However, it is sad that some people are the very cause of their weeping. The weeping and the pain they pass through are as a result of the evil works they have done. God saw the children of Israel weeping. But it was sad that Israel was the cause of her tears. Disobedience to God’s instructions brought God’s punishment on them and they wept in their pains. However, God promised to be gracious to them. When you weep, find out if it is as a result of your disobedience and repent. But if you weep and you are sorrowful though you are a friend of Jesus, be comforted. The Lord will wipe your tears and be gracious unto you.
