Memory Verse
“And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.” Exodus 3:3
Text: Exodus 3:3-10
It is what we are interested in that we like to see. The eyes, they say are the door to your soul. Moses saw what God wanted him to see. He saw the bush burning, but not consumed. He received a message from God for God’s glory and for God’s suffering people.
When we see what God wants us to see we will be a blessing to others and show forth God’s glory. There are many things and many people that want you to see them, but it is very important to exercise strong control over your eyes and be very carefulabout what you love to see.
However, we do not so much see the things of the spirit with our eyes but with our hearts; by what we desire. Desire the word of God, the glory of His name. Desire the good of God’s people. Desire salvation of your soul and righteousness and desire heaven. Pursue your desires until the will of God is done in your life. So, you should be interested to see the cross of Jesus. See Him nailed there for you. See Him standing by the door of your heart, knocking.
See His arms wide open to receive and forgive your sins. Let what you see about Jesus teach your heart to love and obey Him always.
