“Tick Tock!”
Saturday, May 4, 2024Key Verse
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16
Text — Ephesians 5:14-17
Message
When a clock is running, the sound “Tick Tock” or “Tick Tick” is usually heard from the second hand as it moves around the clock face. The clock has to be mechanically or battery-powered before it makes this sound. When the battery is weak, the clock stops or runs slowly behind schedule. To catch up with time, you must install a new battery and then reset the clock.
As Christians, we must understand that this world is like a ticking clock. You will never get back your time. Most people waste their time and their lives on meaningless activities. Young people today are playing video games all day, instead of doing something productive. Even though life is short, many people make it shorter by wasting it daily on unprofitable things. Wasted time leads to wasted life. Make time to read God’s word, pray, and share the love of Jesus with others. Every day, walk with Jesus. Make a daily schedule that will allow you to serve God while also doing your regular work.
Are you becoming weak and running slowly, or not moving at all? You must reconnect with Jesus in order to be charged with the battery of grace and run without tiring. The Lord will give you the strength you need to finish your Christian race well.
