Memory Verse
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24
Text: Mark 11:20-24
Dennis was hungry and his mom gave him the key to the house, so he could go and eat the food she had prepared. Instead of inserting the key into the door’s lock and turn it to open the door, he knocked, pushed the door and started to hit the door.
After some time, he started crying and calling his mom. Dennis starved and suffered hunger because he refused to use the key in his hand.
A key is usually a metal instrument by which the bolt of a lock is turned to either open or close the door. The door answers and responds to the power of the key, no matter the size or type of the door. Faith in God is the key that opens every door and solves every problem. Jesus said in Mark 9:23 “… If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
Praying with faith in God and His word is what brings answer to prayers. Crying, shouting, complaining or begging do not solve problems. Just as the size of the door does not matter when you have the key, likewise the size of the problem does not matter, what matters is your faith in God. Is there a need, or problem in your life or that of your loved ones? Believe God’s promises, pray to God, keep believing and praying irrespective of contrary circumstance. Use that key of faith and all the problems would go.
