Key Verse
“For the son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).
Text — Luke 19:5-10
Message
In his book: Master plan for Evangelism, Robert Coleman said, “It all started by Jesus calling a few men to follow Him…His concerns were not with programs to reach the multitudes but with men who multitudes would follow.” The Christian life begins with conversion of the soul, and afterwards the desire to follow Christ. God loves us enough to seek us out even before we start searching for Him.
God is looking for yielded hearts for the work of missions which Christ left for His followers here on earth. In order to live our lives for His glory, we must know that there is a field to sow in and be watered. There is a harvest to be reaped and gathered. God needs faithful servants that will stand in the gap for the salvation of multitudes of dying souls. People like D. L. Moody, T. L. Osborn and his wife, Daisy Osborn, labored to save souls. A popular chorus says, “Here am I send me…If the Lord wants somebody, Here am I send me.” Will you go in search of the Lost?
