Message
Do you like fruit? What is your favourite fruit? Today, we are considering the fruit of the Spirit. This is a different kind of fruit. These are the traits heaven-bound youths must exhibit. Let’s briefly explain them: to love someone is to care deeply for them and to desire what is best for them. Joy is a good feeling we have because we trust God in both good and bad times. Peace is feeling, calm and secure because we know that God is in control of our world. Longsuffering is showing patience in spite of troubles, especially those caused by others.
Gentleness means not being rough or harsh. It means being careful and respectful towards others. Goodness is uprightness of heart and life. It is considering what people need and then helping them with it. Faith or faithfulness is being loyal and trustworthy. Meekness is the positive moral quality of dealing with people in a kind manner, with humility and consideration. Temperance is self-control; it implies not losing our temper. Trust God for grace to exhibit these qualities as you pray for them.
