Message

Record keeping is a very essential part of life. All births and deaths are registered with the government in the appropriate offices in all nations of the world. Every child therefore is supposed to have a document known as “Birth Certificate.’ Schools also keep records – it helps the management to know who the pupils in their schools are and how many of them they have. Without record keeping, proper account cannot be given.

A school organized an excursion for their final year pupils to visit the airport in the city. Unknown to Kemba the teacher had a list of pupils going out. The teacher called out the names of those who paid to get into the bus. He thought he would be able to ‘smuggle’ himself into the bus, but he was disappointed. The teacher sent him back to his classroom while the other pupils went on the trip. That is what will happen on the last day – anyone whose name is not in the ‘Book of Life’ cannot enter heaven. There will be no ‘gate crashing’, no begging, no bribing, no pleading that will qualify you for heaven on the last day.

The only way to heaven is Jesus – know and accept Him as your Saviour and Lord as you confess your sins to Him, forsake them, ask for forgiveness and cleansing through His precious blood. Is your name in the ‘Book of Life’?
