“Seek The Spirit’s Anointing”

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).
Text —Isaiah 10:23-27
Message
Anointing is a divine enablement for supernatural exploits and achievements. Our text tells us the reality of having burdens on shoulders and yoke on necks (Isaiah 10:27). The shoulder is symbolic of strength and neck symbolic of support. Many youngsters and adults confront their burdens and yoke with human strength but the Bible clearly tells us in I Samuel 2:9 that, “For by strength shall no man prevail.” Physical strength does not always match the enemy’s fiery darts. For example, David did not defeat Goliath by his strength. Daniel was not ten times better by his strength. Samson did not defeat the philistines in his own strength. Esther did not win the beauty contest because of her beauty. Anointing provides the winning advantage to them. Are you tormented? Then it is time to seek genuine anointing.
The anointing comes when you are born again, consecrated and sanctified. Then you pray earnestly to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. The anointing makes you a no-nonsense zone to Satan and his cohorts. It makes us effective in evangelism, and prayers, and useful to humanity.
