Safety For The Sanctified
Tuesday, January 6, 2026Key Verse
“But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still” (Numbers 14:38).
Text — Numbers 14: 36-38
Message
A popular axiom says: “No harm befalls the righteous, for their path is guarded by divine hands.” This statement reassures true believers of the gospel that God is solidly behind them at all times. This was evident in the lives of Joshua and Caleb who were unique in character and obedience to God. They were the only two spies who had faith in God’s promise to give the Israelites the land of Canaan when the other ten spies created problems in the camp of Israel through their negative statements about the same land. God rewarded them with long life as they were the only two of their generation who entered the Promised Land.
Similarly, Christian youths are confronted with various challenges today such as social media distractions, financial difficulties, health problems and academic crisis, yet they are expected to focus on Jesus who can help them to overcome and remain pure. Youths who are sanctified and fully committed to pleasing God will conquer. Today is another opportunity to make right your ways with Jesus, our Saviour and Sanctifier and be fully committed to Him.
