Salvation Or Nothing
Wednesday, January 7, 2026Key Verse
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).”
Text — 2 Chronicles 7:14-16
Message
Salvation is the believer’s first Christian experience that cannot be substituted for anything. Our text reveals that God talks to people who have relationship with Him. In a time of adversity, as a believing youth, there is the need to humble yourself and go to God in prayer to seek His face for divine solution. One should look inward as a child of God, if there is need for spiritual self-examination- “Search me, O God, and know my heart …” (Psalm 139:23). God answers prayers when the heart is pure and free from sin.
If you also keep your body which is the temple of God pure, He will dwell there permanently. Looking elsewhere for a solution is a waste of time, and path to destruction or eternal damnation. If you are a sinner, turn to Jesus for the salvation of your soul which He purchased on the Cross of Cavalry. It is free but indispensable – “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
