Message
There was a young man born to Christian parents. He became a Christian at a tender age. From childhood, his parents taught him how to give to God, always providing the means for him. On entry into the University, he received his monthly stipend from His parents, but he expected them to give him extra money for his tithe, offering and other kingdom projects, unwilling to spend from his stipend. He had not internalized the spirit of sacrificial giving. Dear Christian youth, do you willingly give for God’s work from your income?
From our text, our Lord Jesus Christ observed the giving pattern of worshippers, and commended the poor widow who gave all she had. That was sacrificial giving, portraying the depth of her love for God. Dear friend, giving to God willingly, cheerfully and sacrificially shows the depth of your love for Him and His kingdom. Give of your best to God in everything. He owns you and all that you have. Give God your best in money, time, talent, service, and evangelization of unbelieving youths.
