Peace Is A Blessing- Part 2

Key Verse

“The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.” Psalm 29:11

Text — Psalm 29:7-11

Message

Peace is the state of inner and outward quietness, satisfaction and freedom from fear and harm. Everyone, families, communities and nations are longing, asking and praying for peace. But peace does not just come, it is a blessing from God. It is foolish to look for peace among wicked and ungodly people.

David the Psalmist was a man who faced troubles from every side. The king of Israel, Saul, made himself a personal enemy of David. Besides this, the kings of the nations around him considered him as their greatest enemy. He was running from one place to the other for the fear of his life. There were times that he narrowly escaped death. He really knew the importance of peace, and that only God could give true peace.

You need peace too. You cannot go to school or move about freely if there is trouble or war. You really need to pray for peace. Do all you can to live in peace with those around you.

However, Jesus Christ alone is called The Prince of Peace. The world that has rejected the Prince of Peace has rejected God’s blessing of peace. You have to make peace with Jesus by turning away from all sins and God will bless you with peace and you will be an agent of peace.
