Key Verse
“For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.” Exodus 5:23
Text — Exodus 5:21-23
Message
From the time we feel the need to the time we receive our needed miracles, we are tempted to develop negative thoughts and speak discouraging words. Often, we cry, thinking that God has forgotten us or is too slow. We must be careful of what we say or do in times of trouble, disappointment, delay and pain. We may regret and apologize for our actions later, but the shame and the harm we have caused will remain. The truth is that at difficult times, even great men of God have been tempted to speak out in discouragement.
Abraham said, “Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless,” (Genesis 15:2), Elijah said ” .. now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. (1 Kings 19:4b). Moses, in our Bible Passage said ” … neither hast thou delivered thy people at all”. The better thing is for us to trust in God and patiently wait for Him.
What have you been asking God for? Is it for yourself or your family? Is it concerning your health, study or provisions? Continue praying and wait patiently. In due time, God will answer your prayer.
