Let Your Hands Be Strong – Part 2
Saturday, March 2, 2024Key Verse
“And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong” (Zechariah 8:13).
Text — Zechariah 8:13-17
Message
Walt Disney, was a young cartoonist who was rejected by Newspaper editors. They did not see any talent in him. He was poor and discouraged, but providence smiled on him when a church minister engaged him to draw some cartoons. His work place was in a poor mouse infested shed beside the church. There he saw a mouse which inspired him to start the famous Mickey Mouse business. There is also a breakthrough for you if you do not bury your talents because of challenges. Only let your hands be strong – be diligent.
You too can make it in your chosen career by God’s grace. Our text vividly describes what God demands from sinners and backsliders in order to recover their lost favour from God. They are;
i. Speaking truth to one another
ii. Doing justice in judgment
iii. Purged heart without evil thought against other persons
iv. Hating lies and falsehood.
These are things that God hates.
Turn away from evil and make Jesus your Lord and Saviour. You will have access to God’s blessings through hard and smart work.
