Text — Proverbs 3:1-8
Message
Ereckson Tada said, “The weaker I am, the harder I must lean on God’s grace; the harder I lean on Him, the stronger I discover Him to be, and the bolder my testimony to His grace.” Many youths have problems in choice-making. While some believe they can take decisions without recourse to God, others like King Saul seek help from wrong sources. Such decisions often end in regret (1Samuel 28:7-10). You need God for strength to live a victorious Christian life. You need Him for guidance in your choice of career, institutions to attend, where to live or work, who to marry, fellowship to attend, and so on.
The secret of success of godly youths like Joseph, Joshua, Samuel, David, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and Timothy, is their total dependence upon God. Leaning on God does not however make you idle; you must also work smart and be creative like Joseph. You also need to seek God’s face through prayers, regular study of His word and godly counsels from His ministers for help and triumph in life. He will never disappoint you.
