Key Verse
“He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel” (Psalm 103:7).
Text — Psalms 103:1-8
Message
“If we rejoice in the acts of God without discovering His ways, we’ll question who He is when He doesn’t do what we’ve asked,” says Bill Johnson. Truly, when the people of God focus on miracles, they soon lose sight of the Word or ways of God in tough times, and backsliding sets in because they have no deep Christian roots. The children of Israel believed in God, sang, and praised Him when they saw the miracles at the Red Sea. But what happened later? “They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert” (Psalms 106:13, 14).
Dear friend, we need God’s acts or miracles in our lives and ministries but we need even more of His Word or ways for that is what will keep us in fellowship with Him here and in eternity. However, we cannot understand God’s ways unless we have the right relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. If you are not born again, do so now. Moreover, attend a Bible-believing Church to grow in the Lord.
