Key Verse
“And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.” Genesis 13:10
Text — Genesis 13:8-13
Message
The grass on the other side is greener is a common saying among people, but it is not always so. In our Bible passage, Lot looked ahead and chose a well-watered plain physically, but spiritually, it was a desert. Lot pitched his tent close to people who chose not to retain God in their knowledge, and thus, were given to great wickedness. Our decisions will either build or destroy the purpose of God for our lives. Every day, we are faced with decision making, do you just make decision based on physical things?
Let God be in the centre of your consideration. Desire Him and His will above all other things that might be appealing.
Remember it is not all that glitters that is gold.
Choose right, Choose Christ.
Choose right, Choose Godliness.
Choose right, Choose Righteousness.
Choose right, Choose God’s will.
