I Am Glad

Text — Psalm 122:1-9
Message
Every time she remembers it, her heart would be filled with joy. Since the day her father finally agreed to take Janet to the university zoo, she has felt joy in her heart. She has been looking forward to the day. Her friend, Nomsa, told her that the day she gets there, she will not want to leave because there is so much to see. She had also advised her to save her pocket money to buy sun-shade glasses. Can you imagine how going to see mere animals including snakes can make someone so glad?
There are many things children like to do or places they like to go that make them glad. But the Psalmist says, no place you go to should make your heart more gladdened than going to the House of God. The reasons are: It is in the house of God that we worship Him, see His glory, fellowship with His people and hear His Word that prepares us for peace on earth and eternal joy in Heaven. Always ensure you finish your school and home work quickly and run to the House of God. Pay attention, be quiet and orderly, join in joyful worship of God, pray and be glad before the Lord.
