Key Verse
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
Text — John 10:7-10
Message
Hope is a state of being expectant for a solution or result while hopelessness is the opposite of hope as it is a state of disappointment on an expectation. It is a critical condition of no expected result. After the fall of man in the garden of Eden, all hope of eternal life for man was lost as man was driven from the garden to suffer the consequence for sin. He came under the control of Satan. A sinful child is in a state of hopelessness as the devil has blindfolded him not to see the light of Christ. Such a child is in total darkness with no hope of redemption. But alas! Christ came and died on the cross to redeem man unto Himself, He paid the price for our redemption and brought life to man. He brought hope when all hope was lost.
Today, there is hope for you through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. All you need do is to look up to the cross and accept Jesus into your life, let Him take control of you and bring hope to you. Decide today as delay is dangerous.
