Key Verse
“Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.” Psalm 79:9
Text — Psalm 79: 8-10
Message
The Bible reveals that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Sin separates man from the Holy God. To come back to a loving relationship with God, the sinner needs salvation. What does salvation mean? The dictionary defines salvation as “The process of being restored or made new for the purpose of being saved; the process of being rid of the old poor-quality conditions and becoming improved.”
God is interested in the salvation of every sinner. This was the reason He sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to die and shed His blood. All a sinner needs to do is to sincerely take the steps to salvation thus: (i) Acknowledge that he is a sinner (ii) Repent and confess all his sins to God (iii) Ask God for pardon and cleansing in the blood of Jesus (iv) Turn away from all sins (V) Ask Jesus to come into his heart to be his personal Saviour and Lord. God is still saving sinners today, come to Him and He will save and set you free.
