Message
Text — John 1:40-42
Eureka is a shout of joy or expression of satisfaction when one finds or discovers something great. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who came to the world to die and to save us from our sins. He was born in a manger, his earthly father was a carpenter and thus the Jews did not recognize Him as the promised Saviour. He began His ministry at the age of thirty – preaching, teaching, and healing. As the ministry progressed, He began to call men who will be His disciples, so that the work could continue after His ascension. The first disciple to follow Christ was Andrew after John the Baptist declared Jesus as the Lamb of God.
Andrew was full of excitement and satisfaction at this discovery and quickly brought the good news to Simon his brother, that he has found the Saviour of the world. The big question you have to answer today is: have you found the Messiah? Have you given Him your loads of sin in exchange for peace with God? You don’t need to delay any longer, Jesus is the greatest discovery of all ages! Whosoever finds Him, finds peace and eternal rest with God hereafter. Bow down your head and surrender your life to Jesus now.
