Key Verse
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8: 38,39).
Text — Romans 8:25-29
Message
Love is the bonding virtue that helps two parties to remain faithful to each other. On God`s part love made Him sacrificial to the point of giving us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (Romans 8:32). On our part we are expected as Christian youths to be sacrificial to the point of letting go of everything that contradicts God`s word and our godly convictions. This is why Robert Tilton said that, “Service and obedience are proofs of love.” How is your obedience to God? In what aspects are you serving Him? Love for God is not sentiment, but conscious determination to obey Him implicitly.
When a Christian youth understands that perfect love is one without fear, such a youth would maintain a healthy relationship with God, which is to please Him in good times and bad times, like the three Hebrew young men. We can only have an enduring love for God when we make conscious effort to fearlessly but wisely preach the word of God which we have hidden in our hearts.
