Message
In life, success and failure are inextricably linked. Nobody chooses to fail, but it may occur while striving for distinction. “A study of Bible characters reveals that most of those who made history were men who failed at some point, and some of them drastically, but who refused to continue in the dust,” stated J. Oswald Sanders. People like Abraham, Moses, Hannah, David, and Peter would make this list of failures who never stayed down. The truth is that we can’t fail; instead, we obtain unanticipated outcomes. Thus, with determination and persistence, we could move from failure to success.
Dear friend, you can also be like Joseph, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who never had a record of failure. How intimate are you with God? How diligent are you at your studies and general duties? Daniel was fantastic. He made it a point never to defile himself. He never allowed social pressure to influence him negatively. Peter, in our Bible text, obeyed Jesus, launched into the deep and his 0% score in fishing changed to 100%. You too will make it.
