Message

Purpose is the reason for which something is created or made. The new blender Esther’s mom was given as a gift was useless to her because she did not know how to use it. She tried using it to store some food items but that was the wrong use of the blender and she wasn’t satisfied. Her curiosity led her to check the package that came with the blender. She discovered the manual at the base of the carton. She carefully read through and was able to follow the direction. From then, the blender became useful and it was able to fulfill its purpose.

Every child has a purpose. No child is born for nothing. Before you were born, God knew you and designed you for a purpose. You are not in your family, school or church by accident. Jeremiah was born and raised by Hilkiah his father who was also a trusted and faithful priest. Jeremiah was called to be a prophet at a very young age. That time, he complained that he was just a child, he could not understand his call. God who is omniscient knows everything about all His creatures. Things do not just happen; God has definite plans and purpose for every child. Have you discovered your own purpose?

Do not think you are too young to discover God’s purpose for your life, accept Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord. Commit your life to love and serve Him all the days of your life. Then make the word of God (Bible) your best companion. Read it every day. Meditate on its words, obey all that it commands. Be prayerful and seek to do the will of God. The purpose of God for your life will be actualize in no time.
