Key Verse
“And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.” 1 Samuel 3:10
Text — 1 Samuel 3:1-10
Message
Samuel was still a child when God called him. How old are you? The fact that someone is young does not disqualify him from being used of God. The life you live matters a lot to God and that is what determines how far you can go with Him. Samuel was still at a tender age, taking instructions from Eli when God called him.
It is very important for a person to begin and lay the foundation of his life on God’s word at an early age. God is the Creator of all boys and girls. His desire is for all children to come to Him “for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14) To begin with God, you need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, confessing your sins and forsaking them.
Live a life of righteousness because God cannot use a vessel that is unclean. Do not give in to comments that you are too young to be a useful vessel in God’s hands.
Preach to sinners, pray for the sick, make a difference, and brighten the corner where you are. God will do wonders through you if you let Him.
