According Google’s English Dictionary, vision can be defined as, “the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom,” and mission on the other hand as, “the vocation or calling of a religious organization, especially a Christian one, to go out into the world and spread its faith.” In our text, God charged Paul to carry out his missionary mandate at all cost – “But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee” (Acts 26: 16). God was definite in His command to Paul concerning the missionary assignment. Men like Billy Graham, T. L. Osborn and David Yonggi Cho entered the ministry in their youth.
Christian youths should have visions for missions because they are the labourers whom Christ is depending on for the end-time harvest. Be consecrated to Christ before embarking on this mission because without Christ you can do nothing.
