Message
One of the key challenges with human communication is the issue of getting constructive and actionable feedback between communicating parties. People are sometimes left confused with little or no feedback from the other party they are communicating with. Our communication with God in prayer is somewhat different. Based on the experiences of the worthy saints of old, we learn that we must approach God as our loving Father, who is more than eager to hear us and grant our petitions. He has promised to answer us when we call.
Faith and unwavering trust in God’s promises are essential in receiving answers to our prayers. God fully appreciates that we are creatures of need and expects us to depend on Him. We must not approach God’s throne with fear or a closed mindset or feeling of Him as a task master, rather we must come boldly expectant of answers because He is able. The foundation for a life of faith and relationship with God is repentance from sin and faith in Christ as Lord and Saviour. Remember, expectation begets realization.
