Key Verse
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich”(Proverbs 10:4).
Text — Proverbs 10:1-5
Message
Poverty is a product of slothfulness and lack of diligence at work. According to Watchman Nee, “A diligent person is never idle; he is always looking for things to do. He is always pondering, praying, contemplating, and considering before God as to what to do.” If you want to excel in life you must avoid careless and undisciplined lifestyle. It is necessary to do something at every point in time because time waits for nobody. There are various opportunities available to you during the holidays or while waiting for higher school admission. You can learn a skill in any vocation to add value to your life.
The difference between the champion and the coward is their attitude to challenges. Cowards dread challenges but champions turn them into opportunities for riches. The economic distress across the globe calls for creativity, wisdom, the fear of God and diligence to be relevant. The virtuous woman in Proverbs 31:10-31 prospered due to diligence; and so was Joseph in Egypt. It is International Women’s Day today. Pray for their spiritual life and improvement in their status globally.
