Message

Some years ago, a young girl gave her life to Christ but her decision did not please her parents. Therefore, they requested the service of a herbalist to come and “cast the new faith out of her.” All the attempts made by the herbalist failed; it was a waste of time. The more the herbalist tried, the weaker he became until he became very sick while the girl was waxing stronger, deeper and higher in the Lord daily.

The young girl eventually had compassion on the herbalist and invited him to accept the Lord Jesus that he was trying to fight. He refused initially but as his situation grew worse, he accepted and was brought to the church, where the girl worshipped. After the prayer of faith by the minister in the church, the herbalist was made whole completely. He had to forsake his past ways and became a Christian.

The disciples in our Bible passage went out to preach the gospel and every other power was subject to them through the name of Jesus. As a friend of Jesus, you need not fear anything at all. There is no better, greater, tougher, mightier or stronger power than the power that is in the name of Jesus. The power of Jesus is greater than any sickness, demons, principalities, poison and all the works of Satan.

Maybe you are trusting in some ungodly powers such as witchcraft or familiar spirit, don’t be deceived, submit to Jesus today and receive the superpower.
