Message
“God judges men according to the use they make of the light which he gives them,” says Joseph Smith Jr. Human actions are diverse and often fall short of God’s perfect standard. We make choices that impact ourselves and others, sometimes leading to harm or injustice. Yet, God’s justice remains constant. Our deeds — whether good or evil — are subject to His evaluation. While we may not understand His ways, we must trust in His righteous judgment. God’s authority is coupled with perfect equity, and His justice prevails.
God’s justice is an essential attribute of His nature. It reflects His unwavering commitment to righteousness and fairness. Unlike human judges who may be influenced by external factors, God’s justice is pure and impartial. He weighs every action against the standard of equity, ensuring that each person receives their due. God’s justice flows from His very essence, and He acts out of love for justice itself. While God could enforce the strictest penalties, He often shows mercy, punishing less than our iniquities deserve.
