Key Verse
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10).
Text — Isaiah 41:8-14
Message
Robert Murray McCheyne once remarked this: “If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference. He is praying for me.” This is assurance for every child of God. Charles Spurgeon also stated, “The past you need not fear, it is forgiven you; the present you need not fear, it is provided for; the future also is secured by the living power of Jesus.” “Because I live,” saith He, “ye shall live also.” So why should a believer be afraid when Jesus is still in charge and will always be?
We may confront dangerous circumstances in life by believing Isaiah 41:10. The promise of God’s presence is our source of strength and consolation that can help us conquer our fears. You need not worry about suffering, disappointment, loneliness, misery, ridicule, failure, or death. Life’s difficulties might seem insurmountable, yet God can assist us in overcoming them. All you have to do is to surrender your life to Christ, trust in His plan, grow in faith, and seek His help.
