Key Verse
“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35
Text — Acts 20:32-35
Message
We live in a highly competitive world where everyone must struggle to survive. The world is based on ‘survival of the fittest’ – a world where the strong takes it all. The weak are paid less attention to and they struggle to live normal lives. It is good and profitable to help the weak as someone rightly said “we are at our best when we help the weakest. The weak makes us strong.” Our God is the Friend of the friendless, Help of the helpless, and Protector of the weak.
As believers, the word of God teaches us on how to relate with the weak people around us. Real love demands that we support the weak. Often times, we come across the lame, blind, deaf, and dumb and children who find it hard to cope academically. Such children should be helped, assisted, relieved, and supported. How about those who are weak in faith, who easily fall into temptations? We should support them lest they backslide. Do not look down or mock the weak around us but pray for them and also render help in the best way you can.
