Memory Verse
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD” (Psalms 118:17).
Text: Psalm 118:10-17.
To confess is to acknowledge, declare or proclaim one’s commitment to God’s Word. In our text, the Psalmist proclaimed his faith in God amidst challenges that threatened his life. He boldly confessed, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD” (Psalms 118:17). What a proclamation of faith! Are you presently experiencing situations that threaten your health, finance, education and relationships? God wants you to trust Him no matter the gravity of your situation. Can you, like the Psalmist, trust God amidst challenges of life?
Dear friend, be confident in God and His faithfulness. Nothing is impossible with Him. God is well able to heal you of any disease, and rescue you from every problem. Don’t magnify your problems and minimize God. Like the Psalmist, don’t only exercise your faith and trust in God, but also confess it, I shall not die, I shall succeed, I shall be happy, and I shall prosper. As God honours your faith, remember to declare His Works to other youths, thus pointing them to Christ.
