Key Verse
“If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:” Job 31:33
Text — Job 31: 33- 35
Message
An old, bald-headed vendor went to a snack shop to buy buns. He could only afford a few pieces. The attendant pleaded with him to wait for her to complete the frying of the set on fire before she could get the balance of his money. As the attendant turned aside to get her purse from the nearby cabin, the man hurriedly packed some balls of very hot buns into his big cap and quickly put the cap back on his head. The attendant delayed to get the money and asked him to wait for a moment. The heat of the buns was already too much for him to bear. He had to hurry away promising to come for the balance later. When he opened the cap, his head was covered with burns and he was groaning in pains. What a person covers does not only hurt him, but can damage his life and that of others. Adam’s disobedience was a painful one. He only made excuse, but never repented of his sin. The Bible never records a place where Adam ever turned around to say sorry to God for his sins. He only kept hiding it.
What are you hiding? May be from your parents, Sunday School teacher, guardian or God? It is foolish to try to hide from God. He knows it, but waiting for you to tell Him. Repent from your wrong doings and make them known to God. He will forgive you and give you peace and health.
