Key Verse
“My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2
Text — Psalm 121:1-8
Message
There is a story of a boy who lived in a village. One day, he fell into a river where he went to fetch water. He was drowning and began to cry for help. A hunter was passing by and heard his cry. He ran quickly to his rescue and pulled him out of the river. The boy’s life was saved. A cry for help is needed whenever we are faced with challenges.
When you cry to God, He is always willing to help you. Apostle Peter saw Jesus Christ walking on water and desired to do so. Jesus bade him to come. He started walking, but fear gripped him and he began to sink. Immediately he cried, “Lord, save me;” and Jesus lifted him up and rescued him. Family, friends, riches should not be viewed as our sources of help in this life. God is the only source for meeting our needs physically and spiritually. We must trust in Him with all our hearts and seek Him for grace to help in time of need. The only help we can get is from Christ, look unto Him and be saved and delivered from all troubles.
