Text — Proverbs 13:1-7
Message
A popular proverb goes thus, “Procrastination is the thief of time.” It steals destiny, progress, success, hard work, opportunities in life and even eternal life. The simple definition of procrastination is doing tomorrow or later what you are supposed to do today or now. One of the signs of procrastination is, “there is still time”, “I will do it tomorrow”, “I will do it next week”, “I will do it next year” and before you know it, you miss the opportunity.
Imagine a student who keeps saying the examination is still very far and will not begin to prepare from the beginning of the term. Before he knows it, the examination time table is out and that student goes into the examination unprepared, the result is failure. Many children also procrastinate to give their lives to Christ. They keep saying “I will do it tomorrow”, “I am still very young.” They don’t know that rapture can take place at any time and they end up in hell. Be wise today and not form the habit of putting off whatever you need to do now our watchword should be “DO IT NOW”, and you will be free.
