Key Verse
“For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:20
Text — Ephesians 6:19-21
Message
According to Merriam – Webster’s Dictionary, “an ambassador is an authorized representative of the government of his country in another country”. He is expected to portray his nation well. Therefore, he must be of good behaviour and clean records. In verse twenty of our Bible passage, Apostle Paul refers to himself as “an ambassador in bonds”. He had been arrested and imprisoned for preaching salvation through Jesus Christ to the people. Paul was not arrested for stealing or doing any bad thing which God hates. He fulfilled God’s call on him to go and preach the gospel to sinners. He obeyed God and was not afraid of man’s punishment.
Jesus is still calling all His friends to be His ambassadors anywhere and everywhere they are. Are you a true friend of Jesus? He is calling you, do not delay to respond to this call so He can use you to bring souls into His kingdom. Do not be afraid of what the enemy may do to you. Jesus is watching over you. He will protect and keep you from all evils as He uses you to expand His kingdom on earth.
