Gratitude And Praise
Wednesday, February 11, 2026Key Verse
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name” (Psalm 100:4).
Text — Psalm 100:1-5
Message
A man of God once shared with his congregation how gratitude opened many doors for him in life. He said, “Anytime someone does something for me, I always say, ‘Thank you’ and that has opened doors for me.” This shows attitude of gratitude. Gratitude and praise are daily acts every youth must perform before God. God does not leave us with a choice, it is a command. It shows the state of our heart, humility, piety and moral life towards God. Gratitude and praise should be central to youths’ Christian fellowship with God, the Father.
Praise gives outward expression to inward gratitude, mostly in godly songs to God. Jesus highly esteems youths’ praise. Irrespective of our circumstances, praise must never cease from our lips because our God is faithful in all circumstances. Praise God for His mighty acts, your salvation, academic success, provision, healing and so on. Do not forget that God does not honour or accept praises from sinful and defiled hearts. Repent and give your life to Christ, and God will accept your praise and bless you abundantly.
