Message
D.L. Moody once said, “I never saw a useful Christian who was not a student of the Bible.” God instructed Moses to make two tables of stone to replace the initial ones he broke as a result of the rebellion of the Israelites. He was also to make an ark of wood where the tables of commandments would be kept in the Tabernacle. It is instructive to note here that, though the first tables were broken, God’s words are indestructible, inerrant, never irrelevant, or to be refashioned. His words superintend over all human limitations and weaknesses. In all things, they must be given first place.
With the dismal failure of Israel to keep this law, God decided to write the laws no more on tables of stone but on the fleshly tables of their heart. This unique privilege is available for all children of God who sincerely pray, consecrate their lives for a true heart circumcision. Do not wait for tables of stone; read and study the words on printed pages and electronic devices today and obey them.
