“Bond Of Fellowship”

Key Verse

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42

Text —Acts 2:41-47

Message

A group of young Christians went on a camping trip to a remote village on the outskirts of the town. It was a memorable moment for all of them as they had sweet fellowship with one another and great time of sharing, playing together, singing and learning to play musical instruments. They also had lots of fun doing Bible games, watching Christian movies and of course eating and drinking homemade fruit juice. That was a true fellowship.

From our Bible passage, we learn how the brethren at the time of the Acts of Apostles practised what is called true fellowship. They were bonded together by the love of Christ, they had all things in common, they ate and praised God together. Those that had land sold them and gave the money to those that had need. What a true fellowship they enjoyed.

You can experience this bond of fellowship by having the mind of Christ like the believers in Acts 2. Fellowship with the friends of Jesus and sharing all that you have with those that have need show that you love Jesus. You can share your Bible, hymn book, snacks, water, food, pen, clothes and shoes etc and as you do so, you will have your reward in heaven. Remember only friends of Jesus can enjoy true fellowship with one another.
