Key Verse
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4
Text — 2 Peter 1:1-4
Message
Before traveling, Pharez’s dad told him to go to the store close to his school to get pen, pencil, notebook etc., anytime he had a need and that the storekeeper would give him. Wondering how the storekeeper would give him all those things without going with money to pay, he did not go to the storekeeper and did not have them. Unknown to Pharez, his dad had deposited a large sum of money with the storekeeper to pay for whatever need Pharez would have.
God has made more than enough provision for all your needs. All things that you need to live a godly life, succeed in your academics and grow to be like Jesus were made available through Jesus’ sacrificial death at Calvary. God also promised to give them to His children who desire and ask for them. Yes, you can have them all. The promises of God and His unlimited power form the basis for possessing all that is available in Jesus Christ. Forgiveness of sin, victory over temptations, pure heart, power of the Holy Spirit, success, healing and health and much more. Have you received them? It is not enough to know about them, you must desire them, trust in God’s faithfulness to give them to you, pray and receive them.
