“The Way To Walk”

Key Verse

“I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;” Ezekiel 20:19

Text — Ezekiel 20:16-20

Message

Children love to have fun and also love to play; they play with almost everything. While walking to church, some children would leave the main road that is clear and free, they would start walking by the edges of the drainage. Some would even try to jump across the open drainage at the risk of causing injury to themselves. Some others even cover their faces while walking along the road to prove that they can walk with their faces covered. All these are dangerous ways of having fun; they could cause injuries that may take a life time to heal, avoid them.

God was not happy with the children of Israel because they refused to walk in the way He commanded them to walk in. They rejected God’s instructions and commandments by doing things in their own ways. Today, many children enjoy doing what is sinful and defiling. They love ungodly music, sinful games, transparent clothes that reveal their nakedness, worldly parties and sinful pleasures. Some boys and girls even copy the lifestyles of people they refer to as models such as worldly musicians, artists, ungodly men and women that have no good morals. God’s call comes to you today as it came to the children of Israel. Turn from your bad ways and walk in truth, walk in Righteousness and walk in Obedience, this is what God is calling you to do.
