Message
Mark 15:33-39 depicts the profound moment of Jesus’ death on the cross. As darkness covered the land and Jesus cried out in agony, the significance of His sacrifice became apparent to those who witnessed it. Even the centurion, a Roman soldier tasked with overseeing the crucifixion, recognized Jesus as the Son of God. The death of Christ was not merely a tragic event but the culmination of God’s redemptive plan for humanity. Jesus willingly endured the pain and shame of the cross to atone for our sins and reconcile us to God. Through His death, we find forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life.
This gift of God should never be despised by us but greatly appreciated that after we received and lived in obedience of faith to the gospel, we also should make sure that others taste and see that the Lord is good by taking the gospel to them. Your siblings, friends, classmates, neighbours, fellow passengers, teachers and even parents should hear the gospel. Many children have led their parents or siblings to Christ because they do not count His sacrifice for mankind common.
