“Suffering Saints Shall Reign”
Friday, June 6, 2025Key Verse
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us” (2 Timothy 2:12).
Text —2 Timothy 2:8-12
Message
“The blood of Jesus has a cleansing effect that reaches beyond our born-again experience,” says a minister. That description fits who a saint is. When you become a saint, the blood of Jesus washes away your past and His name opens your future. In other words, you are saved, cleansed, and sanctified. Saints are those who have been washed white in the blood of the Lamb and are now in God’s eternal presence in the Church Triumphant. A saint bravely endures suffering because he is convinced that in the life to come, he will reign with Christ and not merely live with Him. On the contrary, if you deny Christ, He also will deny you.
What is your relationship with Jesus Christ and how strong is your faith about making heaven and reigning with Him? The Scriptures say the faithless and unbelievers will have no share in the glories of the life to come. These grave warnings are apparently not addressed to the faithless and unbelievers who have never known Christ but to unfaithful members of the visible Church. Desist from any act of iniquity, if you must reign with Christ eternally.
