Message
A bully is someone who is habitually loud and cruel. He/she uses his or her strength or power to frighten or hurt people who are weaker, smaller or helpless in some way. Joel’s school has an anti-bullying policy that states, “No student shall intimidate, harass, or bully another student through words or actions; either by direct physical contact, such as hitting or pushing; verbal assaults, such as teasing or name-calling; and social isolation or manipulation.”
Joel’s academic performance had suffered as a result of intimidation and assault by a boy in a higher class. After some investigation, his mother discovered what was going on. She reported the incident to the school administration which investigated it and expelled the bully. This should teach us as Christians to report all cases of bullying from the devil and his agents to our God rather than accommodate them.
If you are being bullied either at school or neighbourhood, do not keep quiet. Report to your parents, school authorities and godly teachers. Spiritually too, some Christians allow the devil to inflict so many injuries on them without taking action. They experience failure, sickness and affliction and act as if there is no way out. Jesus cares for you and wants you to come to Him whenever you have any challenge. Look up to Jesus, and He will never leave you.
