“Reach Out To The Unreached”
Saturday, April 12, 2025Key Verse
“But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:” Luke 14:13
Text — Luke 14:12-14
Message
The people of the world believe so much in what is referred to as “survival of the fittest”. This means that you must struggle to be relevant in everything. There are inequalities and discrimination all over the world. The privileged have it all while the underprivileged are isolated and neglected. Many people will only help those who can repay them.
Unlike in the world, everyone is welcomed in God’s kingdom. When it comes to God’s family, no one is isolated or disadvantaged. The love and compassion of Christ in our hearts as believers provide us with a wonderful sense of fellowship. In today’s passage, Jesus instructs us not to invite (to dinner) only those who can repay the favour, but also those who cannot. As Christians, we should not exclude anyone from salvation. God saves people, even the worst sinners.
Today, Jesus is calling you to look around and reach out to the unlikely and neglected people. Tell them that Jesus loves them and wants them to come to His kingdom. The Lord will bless you as you devote your life to this glorious work.
