Key Verse
“And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses, And he said, Here am I.” Exodus 3:4
Text — Exodus 3:1-4
Message
Kenneth did not know that somebody around knew him. At home, he had been feeling uncomfortable under Mum’s watchful and prying eyes. Now, away from home, he decided to just feel free and do things the way he liked.
Unknown to him, his new class teacher was their former neighbor. He was surprised as he entered the class that first morning, someone shouted his name from behind, “Kenneth Bassey, come here and say hello to me. Your mum has asked me to take care of you.”
Imagine! Moses would have been surprised to hear someone calling his name in that lonely wilderness. God had work for him to do. He called him by his name to show him that He knows him and was not making a mistake. You can equally put your name in place of Moses. Don’t be surprised, God knows your name too and sees you everywhere you go; though most times you act as if He does not know you. That should be the reason why you sometimes do things that are not right before God. The call of God is to everybody. He is calling you to serve Him and preach the love of Jesus to other children. You must obey Him. That is the only way you can enjoy His presence and blessings.
