Key Verse
“And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.” Isaiah 49:3
Text — Isaiah 49:1-7
Message
God created us in His image for His glory. He did not make us to please ourselves or Satan. But looking at what is going on in our society today, can one say that we are living to glorify God? The answer is “no.” Human beings have gone their ways, doing things that do not honor God. This was the situation in Israel during the time of Prophet Isaiah. He was very sad about the spread of evil and corruption. He knew that there is punishment awaiting those who through their lifestyle, rebel against God.
We are called to live for God’s glory no matter how corrupt our society may be. Schools and other institutions have thrown away the godly standard. Cheating in an examination, immoral friendships, and many other sinful practices are openly accepted. But for you, the friend of Jesus, remains the Lord’s servant, and be determined to honor Him in all you think, say, and do. He will bless, protect and promote you.
